2019 Torella Bocce Tournmanent
The 2019 edition of the annual Torella Bocce Tournament was held on a beautiful summers day on June 23rd in Brampton. The tournament was a tightly contested event with over 14 teams squaring off and at the end it came down to the teams of Pasquale Meffe and Mario Diplacido vs Benny Meffe and Lorenzo D’alessandro. The game was a one sided affair with the team of Pasquale and Mario dominating from the onset. Congratulations to Pasquale and Mario, the 2019 Bocce Champions. Although the bocce was one of the main reasons paesani got together, it was not the only reason. It was the many stories, the great food and drinks that provided a back drop to the main event. We would like to thank Benito Meffe for doing such a great job for organizing this years event. Hopefully next year we can have even more teams at the event and by doing so carry on this great tradition
